The Oregon Trail Reading at Bootleg Theatre, LA

I'll be working with The Fleet to present a public reading of Bekah Brunstetter's new play, The Oregon Trail.  In this very funny and poignant play, a young woman seeks solace from her depression in a video game that mysteriously tells the story of her pioneer forebears.  The reading will be at the Bootleg Theatre in LA (2220 Beverly Blvd.) on Saturday, July 26th at 1pm.  Please RSVP by emailing reservations@the-fleet.com to join us!

August Heat to Premiere at RIIFF

August Heat, a short film I wrote and produced with director Matthew James Thompson, will receive its world premiere at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, August 5-10!  Based on WF Harvey's short story, the film follows an artist who searches for the sinister source of inspiration for his latest illustration.  August Heat features Jarlath Conroy and me, as well as an original score by Ryan Whittier.
